Landmark Settlement Forces FDA to Retract Anti-Ivermectin Statements
Doctors' Lawsuit Leads to Removal of FDA's Social Media Posts and Webpages Opposing Ivermectin Use
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has reached a settlement agreement to remove social media posts and webpages discouraging the use of ivermectin for treating COVID-19.
The settlement, dated March 21, requires the FDA to take down statements that advised against using ivermectin for COVID-19 prevention or treatment. This includes removing a webpage stating that ivermectin should not be used for COVID-19 and deleting social media posts that criticized the use of ivermectin.
In return, doctors who sued the FDA are dropping their claims. Dr. Mary Talley Bowden and Dr. Paul Marik, key figures in the case, expressed satisfaction with the settlement, emphasizing that it sets an important precedent in limiting FDA intervention in the doctor-patient relationship.
“This landmark case sets an important precedent in limiting FDA overreach into the doctor-patient relationship,” Dr. Bowden said on X.

Wow, that's it? How about a public apology and retraction? They should have to do it front and center on the big narrative pushers like CNN and MSNBC.
I looked at attached article for what the FDA will do. I don’t know what was accomplished if the FDA is only agreeing to remove some posts and web pages but doesn’t have to acknowledge publicly the support in so many studies for ivm effectiveness and safety, and make a public retraction of their prior guidance. Unless I missed something, by all appearances they haven’t changed their position. Perhaps they can make new posts and web pages? Disappointing.
