Investigation Reveals U.S. Government's Alleged Bribery of Pharmacies to Suppress Ivermectin Usage
The federal governmet gave Walgreens and CVS billions.
In a recent investigative report, troubling revelations have emerged regarding the use of Ivermectin in the treatment of COVID-19. The expose delves into the alleged collaboration between government bodies, major pharmacy chains such as Walgreens and CVS, and influential figures to steer public discourse away from Ivermectin as a potential remedy for the virus.
As Dr. Pierre Kory wrote in his book The War on Ivermectin:
“In the wake of the global horse-dewormer propaganda campaign, hospitals started pulling ivermectin from their pharmacies. Health systems began harassing and threatening employees with loss of employment if they prescribed ivermectin. Pharmacies became even more brazen in their refusals to fill ivermectin prescriptions.”
The pharmacy pay-to-play investigation suggests a systematic effort to promote COVID-19 vaccines while downplaying the efficacy of Ivermectin, a drug that has garnered attention for its potential benefits in combating the disease. Financial incentives, purported misinformation campaigns, and the influence of profit motives over public health considerations are focal points of concern raised by the report.
The pharmacies CVS and Walgreens received substantial financial payments from the government related to COVID-19 contracts. CVS was awarded a potential worth of over $2.1 billion in June 2022, with another contract potentially worth $3.4 billion through 2025. On the other hand, Walgreens received over $800 million in federal contract award money in 2021 and over $1 billion in 2022. These significant sums of money were linked to various COVID-19-related services, including testing, vaccine services, and potentially filling prescriptions for government-sponsored medications like Paxlovid.
The findings bring to light questions surrounding transparency, accountability, and the ethical implications of prioritizing commercial interests in the context of public health crises.
