Royal Family Controversy: Internet Ablaze With Conspiracy Theories Reminiscent Of Diana
Internet Detective Sparks Debate with Claims of Doctored Images Amidst Alleged Royal Affair
An Internet detective, Allyn Aston, has stirred controversy by suggesting a Mother's Day photo released by Kate Middleton was actually edited from pictures taken at a November 2023 charity event. Aston, sharing her analysis on TikTok, pointed to the outfits and noticeable Photoshop errors as evidence of the photo's true origins.
This theory has gained attention among royal family conspiracy theorists, with the video receiving over 210,000 views shortly after posting. Additionally, some speculate that the Duchess' face in the photo was superimposed from a 2016 Vogue cover.
According to some conspiracy theories circulating on social media and online forums, there is speculation that Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was having an affair with a royal by marriage, Thomas Kingston.
Thomas Kingston was previously in a relationship with Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Kate Middleton. They were linked together around 2011. Despite their breakup, Pippa and Thomas remained friendly, as they attended various events together, including Pippa's wedding to James Matthews in 2017.
Thomas Kingston later married Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent and a first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II. They tied the knot in May 2019 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married. Kate's sister, Pippa, and her husband, James Matthews, attended Thomas and Gabriella's wedding.
Online speculation has given rise to a theory suggesting that a purported relationship between Kate Middleton and Thomas Kingston catalyzed a sequence of tumultuous events within the British royal family.
Originally, there were rumors that Kate's recent absence from public events was due to complications from a major abdominal surgery she underwent in January 2024. But some conspiracy theorists believe that her medical issues are a result of a pregnancy, possibly with Thomas's child, and that she underwent a forced abortion followed by a period of mourning.
The main source of this theory appears to stem from the sudden death at 45 of Thomas Kingston, the husband of the King's cousin Lady Gabriella.
Thomas Kingston's cause of death was determined to be a traumatic head wound due to a gun shot. He was found deceased with a catastrophic head injury in a locked building at his parents' residence in Gloucestershire, England. A gun was present at the scene, and the police said that the death is not suspicious. The exact circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed, but an inquest concluded that it was an apparent suicide.
Some people have speculated that this was not a suicide, as reported, but rather a murder orchestrated by the royal family to cover up the alleged affair between Kate and Thomas.
Update:
Kate Middleton has acknowledged and apologized for the photo being digitally altered.

Wow - First I'm hearing of this theory and its a doozy. Kind of makes sense, though. Poor Kate. No matter what's really going on, she's being thrown under the bus.
